Group LTD has consolidated its share of the North American market
with the acquisition of NuTemp Inc., the second largest chiller rental
company in the USA. Chicago-based
NuTemp has depots in Houston, Newark (DE), Phoenix, Baton Rouge
and Lakeland (FL). NuTemp will merge with Longville's existing U.S.
business, Servidyne CRS Inc., to provide Longville with a combined
network of seven depots serving most of the key industrial and commercial
areas in the United States. This expanded firm will join the existing
companies in the Longville group, which include SLD Specialist Hire
Services (the largest pump rental company in the United Kingdom),
PoweRent and Climate Rental Services (the U.K.'s largest cooling
and heating rental specialists).
Garry
Broadbent, Managing Director of CRS, believes the amalgamation will
improve the capability of Longville to offer a comprehensive service
to its worldwide client base.
"Because
NuTemp is very similar to CRS and other companies within the Longville
group, I believe it will help to expand our customer base in the
United States considerably," he comments.
"We
will now not only be able to supply customers of Servidyne and NuTemp,
but we can make the equipment fleets held by SLD and PoweRent available
to them also."
Capable
of providing chiller packages of up to 20,000 tons for a single
site, NuTemp has long been established as one of America's leading
suppliers of chiller equipment. NuTemp has significant experience
in cooling towers and large capacity water-cooled chillers, which
will be valuable to the group.
Coordinating
the introduction of Longville's extensive product range, from chillers
and heaters to pump rental, power jetting and generators, into NuTemp's
depots will be the existing management team Dennis Haller (President),
Dave Robertson (Vice President) and Curt Banaszek (Financial Controller),
providing consistency and continuity as NuTemp develops both its
products/services and geographical coverage throughout North America. |
